The rest area advance sign is a rect v and its colour is blue. It is a guide sign: it tells you about destinations, distances and services. It does not order you to do anything, but the test does ask about its colour and its job.

Rest areas are signed in blue as a motorist service. Using one is the correct response to drowsiness — there is no substitute for stopping.
